Missing Ethernet Controller Driver – 3 Simple Solutions
The first solution is that you need to look at the flash bios on your motherboard. Most of the time, the Ethernet function is one that is placed on board the motherboard, and if you are installing an external Ethernet device, there will be conflicts because the operating system will try to launch both the hardware and there will be a problem there. If you are installing a new Ethernet device, you need to look at the onboard motherboard functions that are there.
There will be always the option for you to disable the onboard Ethernet controller and this should solve most of the problems. How you get to your BIOS is really up to the manufacturer of the motherboard, but usually you can see the instruction on the start-up screen before your bios is launched. Once you remove the conflict, then and only then will you be able to fix the Ethernet controller problem. The next thing you can do is to check the version of the Ethernet driver that you have. Usually, it is not a good idea to rely on the drivers provided on the CD, because most of the time, this will be an old version.
You need to understand that there will always be conflicts and software errors when new versions of programs come out and they are not tested with other, linear expansions. So, you need to have the latest drivers, and not only to they give more optimal and trouble free performance, it will resolve most the driver controller problems that you have. All you need to do to find these latest drivers is to go online and get them from the parent website. This is just you logging online and make sure you check this before you actually start to install the hardware product. The other thing, and the third step you can take is that you should check your registry,
The problem might lie there, and this can range from things like virus problems, null zero problems, missing data and such. The registry is one of the main controlling programs of the computer and if there is a problem there, then everything else will be affected. What you can do is you can clean out your registry and at the same time you can also scan and fix your computer of other issues. Having a clean registry and computer environment will help you to get rid of all those pesky Ethernet driver issues. Latest drivers can be gotten online for free, so there is no cost to this whatsoever. Download sites all over cyberspace will allow you to get these programs for free and with that you can fix your issues in no time flat. These are some of the simple solutions that you can do to solve your missing Ethernet controller driver problem. As you can see, the problems are really easy to solve, and they require only the simplest application of common sense and knowledge. Anyone can do this.

How to delete Drivers from BIOS?
Yesterday Windows XP installed a driver for me, they said it dident work and so and I just closed the window with error. I went checking mail and stuff and suddenly my computer freezed. Now I cant boot my computer, It must be the driver, it was called something like MLP or MTP Device.
How do I delete that Driver from the BIOS?
Hello,
Drivers are installed only in OS. You couldn't uninstall them from BIOS.
When Windows starts press F8 at beginning, start in safe mode (without net).
Login and choose:
1. to restore (to a restoration point)
or
2. to remove driver for MTP devices (from Computer Management or Control Panel Add Remove Programs by example )
This second variant is the best because you PC will have all drivers (without the last that you removed) and registers up to day.
An older restoration point or repair with original CD without a repair disk (where windows save registers and others) will cause to your PC a bad running for some programs and you need to reinstall them.
Give me details about device with MTP protocol (type, no, manufacturer, version, connection type -usb or fireware).
